  • Now employees will be able to approach courts in case of denial of leaves and any victimization.
  • Employers could act proactively being more liberal on childcare policies.
  • It would help to increase the GDP, productivity and welfare.
  • Parliament may include it in the labour codes soon. 
 Recognizing role of women as caretakers of children will improve female LFPR (~33%) considerably. Instead of taking a feminist or masculine stance, state should support pragmatic policies that have demonstrable results.
